What is the Falcon Athletic Booster Club?
The Falcon Athletic Booster Club is a non-profit organization composed of parents, staff, alumni and friends that support all sports at Severna Park High School by raising money to purchase supplies, uniforms, equipment and/or capital items beyond what the school athletic budget provides. Each of the eighteen (18) sports teams, including the Cheerleading team, has an adult representative on the Falcon Athletic Booster Club Board of Directors, which meets monthly.
How is money raised?
Money is raised through booster memberships, fundraising activities and advertisements in the sports team programs. Throughout the year, the Falcon Athletic Boosters sponsor a Mulch Sale, Bull & Oyster Roast, and a Golf Outing. The Booster Club also manages the concessions sales at most sports events. During the 2004-2005 school year, the Falcon Athletic Booster Club provided over $100,000 to Severna Park High School athletics. You are invited to volunteer your time, enthusiasm and energy to support these fundraising activities.

By becoming a Falcon Athletic Booster, you not only will help our young athletes have a more enjoyable and rewarding high school experience, but you will also make new friends and gain satisfaction in knowing that you have enriched the Severna Park community.
What is a Sports Team Representative?
A Sports Team Representative is a member of the Falcon Athletic Booster Club who, in addition to the responsibilities as a Booster Club member, has agreed to participate in fundraising activities of the Falcon Athletic Booster Club and to act as a liaison between the Booster Club and a sport.
The Sports Team Representative actively communicates with the coaching staff of the sport to help assure a successful program. This includes coordinating annual funding requests of the sport, and may also include assisting in sport-related programming such as parent night, team banquets, game programs and team rosters, as requested by the coaching staff.
The Sports Team Representative acts as a liaison between the sport and the Booster Club; is a current member of the Falcon Athletic Booster Club; attends monthly Booster Board meetings; participates in and helps coordinate fundraising activities.
When does the Falcon Athletic Booster Club Board meet?
The Falcon Athletic Booster Club meets once every month during the school year. The meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month @ 7:00pm in the school Media Center. All are welcome!
