Varsity Head Coach - Gary Lam
Gary Lam assisted at Urbana High School for 4 years, Brunswick for 3 years, and was head coach for 4 years with the Frederick United Soccer Club. He is entering into his seventh season as head coach of the Severna Park Girls Soccer team. His current record with Severna Park High School is 85-13-6.
In his 6 years as head coach at Severna Park he has lead the Falcons to 4 County Championships (most in Anne Arundel County History), 3 Region Championships, & 2 State Championships. The 2002 State Champions finished in the NSCAA/ADIDAS National Top 25. In 2002 Coach Lam was named "County Coach of the Year" by the Baltimore Sun, and Washington Post and "State Coach of the Year" by the Maryland Association of Coaches of Soccer (MACS). In 2003 Coach Lam was named "Maryland Gazette County Coach of the Year" and Baltimore Sun "All-Metro Coach of the Year". Coach Lam has his NSCAA National Diploma.
In 2006 Coach Lam Guided the Severna Park U-12 Dynamite to a MD State Cup Final and he also coached the Dynamite to become the first ever USYSA Region 1 8v8 Champions.
Varsity Assistant Coach - Karen Kotofski
Coach Karen attended Northeast High School from 1997-2001 during which she played soccer, basketball, and softball. She was named to the All-county squads for each and her senior year earned Anne Arundel County Athlete of the Year. She went on to continue her education at Frostburg State University where she was a 4-year starter on the soccer team. During this time she earned conference and university recognition for both academic and athletic achievements. She graduated in 2005 with an Early Childhood Education major. She currently teaches Kindergarten at High Point Elementary in Pasadena.
Goalkeeper Coach - Kerry York
Coach York was the starting keeper for Severna Park Falcons 1997-2000. She earned All County all four years, All Metro Sun and Post, All State, Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year 2000-2001 and won the 4A State Championship in 2000. She was on the Maryland ODP Team from the age of 11 until 19. Regional Team 1998-2002. Coach York attended Florida State University. She was the starting goalkeeper from 2001-2003 until injuries cut short her career in 2003. Kerry holds the USSF “E” coaching license and is a Certified Personal Trainer and Sports Nutrition Specialist.
Junior Varsity Coach - Paul Daley
Coach Daley has been coaching for the last fifteen years .He released his passion, love and understanding of the game during the early years with local recreation leagues .He has trained with many great players and coaches such hall of fame player Len Oliver .Paul has coached in BBSL, WAGS and High School. He currently is coaching an u12 WAGS Team. He also holds a USSF National D license and is eligible for his C in the summer of 2008.
